The
Stromberg Telephone Attendance Module is an optional
companion software package to the Stromberg Enterprise
program. This module enables employees and management to
use a telephone in place of, or in connection with a
time clock, when one is not available. Using a standard
touch-tone telephone linked to a PC as the input device,
the Telephone Attendance Module records punch
information over telephone lines and enables employees
and management to input and request information from
off-site locations.
The Stromberg Telephone
Attendance Module enables employees to:
Register Punches
Change Departments
(Department transfers)
Check hours this week
Check schedules for the
next four (4) days
Check messages
Delete messages
To briefly describe the
process, the Telephone Attendance Module software and
hardware are installed on the Stromberg provided PC.
Using the specified phone number of the PC modem line(s)
the employee dials into the Telephone Attendance Module
and accesses the system using their individual PIN
number. They next input or gather the necessary
information from the system. Any punch or department
information is immediately transferred and updated in
the Stromberg Time & Attendance program database. There
is NO need to perform additional procedures to transfer
data to update the Stromberg Time & Attendance system.
